It would take several books, years of study, and certainly more authoritative voices, to establish what went and is still, in many ways, going wrong in Africa. But the debate about the development of Africa is open to all of us, not just Africans but citizens of the World. For, as it is often referred to, the World is a planetary village, and what happens in Africa has an impact in the rest of the World. I have always given thoughts to the situation in my home country of Senegal and the rest of Africa; I will share here those thoughts and open myself to constructive discussion with people interested in the development of the African continent.
